The Ardee School

Student leadership is key to preparing thinking citizens who can take initiatives. At The Ardee School, the Student Council is elected through a rigorously contested elections. Students of the secondary school cast their vote through secret ballot e voting. The Student Council represents the student voice and is actively involved in planning and running various school events and identifying student issues. The Student Council is involved in green initiatives, lead on the community service programme, act as mentors for the younger students and act as a bridge between the staff and student body. Student Council members are encouraged to give their views when the school is reviewing any practice or policy.

The Student Council members are provided with leadership training by external facilitators in order to equip them with the requisite skills to make them collaborative team members and at the same time independent thinkers who are focused on student welfare and supporting the school in all areas.

Weekly meetings are held to discuss school concerns and student issues and promote student involvement in various inter house and inter school initiatives.
